Owner of Steroid UGL arrested

Paul Matthews, the man who helped bust “muscelbear” steroid source pleaded to dealing in steroids and has been sentenced to 15 months in jail.  He owned an underground lab in which he manufactured steroids. He will be paroled for three years. He had initially been found with ingredients for the making of steroids in his home-ironical for a person who helped bust a Ukrainian steroid ring. Even more interesting is the fact that he bought his ingredients from “musclebear”, which was shipped to his home. The information he gave to the authorities in the United States led to the arrest and indictment of musclebear. Since he was part of the operation in the sale of steroids, he must have been promised some freedom in exchange for information. However, Justas a leopard that does not change its sports, he still continued with the trade of dealing with steroids.

Distribution of steroids from underground labs has been a pain to law enforcement in the united states, with thousands of people being indicted every year for dealing in steroids  or manufacturing them in underground labs. Aside from the fact that steroids are illegal, there is the fact that manufacturing in underground labs does not adhere to any standard and which may lead to more harm than good to the users.  These underground labs act as places for manufacture and distribution of steroids, which is done by mail or personal delivery. A good number of people in the United States make use of steroids in an attempt to enhance physical performance in sport or improve their appearance. They are taken orally and are used together with other steroids in a process called “stacking.” Some steroids are injected, and others are taken as oral pills. They can be taken for weeks or months depending on what the user wants to active.

The effect on the brain is that it causes some “high” that almost always leads to addiction to the steroid. Abuse of steroids leads to some very nasty effects that not only affect the physical health of the user, but also the mental health of the users. They are more likely to be depressed and over-aggressive. The depression is coupled by high, such that a steroid user experiences high highs and low lows. Some people have killed themselves in their depression. It affects moods significantly, hence the reason governments and other administrations are hard at work stamping the use of steroids. Physical effects include gynecomstia (the growth of breasts in men) which is only removed by surgery and Virilization (male physical characteristics in women) which are irreversible. They include the deepening of the voice, growth of the Adams apple, facial and chest hair and the complete loss of femininity.
