Steroid possession criminal history suspected found death

According to the Police a shooter responsible for injuring four Police officers and killing Michael Maloney, the Police Chief, was found in a Post Road home dead. His name was said to be Cullen Mutire and along with him there was an unidentified dead body of a women as well. Police came to know about these two dead bodies when a police robot was sent inside the home by the SWAT team. Details on how they died were not told.

In order to assist the community after such a tragic incident a de briefing team would be provided says Karen Anderson who is the Town Administrator of Greenland. The Central School in the city was closed for the day and served as office for the police officers. Surroundings of Mutire’s house are also cordoned off by the police and town hall of the place is serving s a central point for all the media persons.

All the town officials were in a state of shock and they hugged each other at the sad demise of the police chief Michael Maloney. All were very sad due to the very reason that on April 20, Maloney was set to retire from his post after serving for a long twelve years on the post. Sgt. Tara Laurent was nominated as the new chief in an emergency ceremony.

The four officers wounded in the incident were 32 year old Gregory Turner from Department of Dover Police, 31 year old detective from UNH Police Eric Kulberg, 33 year old detective from the Newmarket Police Department Scott Kukesh and 34 year old detective from Rochester Police Department Jeremiah Murphy.  Kullberg’s arm and Turner’s shoulder were injured from the gun shots and they were released from the hospital after necessary actions. While the other two are still in intensive care unit where surgery was planned for both of them and both are expected to survive.

Attorney General Mike Delaney extended his prayers to the killed and injured ones and their families. Senior Assistant Attorney General Jane Young said it is a loss to the loved ones and their families. Governor John Lynch went to the hospital and expressed his views on this tragic incident.

According to Delaney the police officers were supposed to go for a raid at 6 pm at 517 post road home of Mutire. The police chief Michael Maloney was leading the raid along with other officers. This raid was related to the drug investigations. During that raid chief was killed with four officers injured. Before this raid Mutire has a criminal record and various arrests on account of assaults and also arrested for possessing different steroids.
